Throughout his career, Jason has held several key positions, including Vice Principal at Summit Collegiate High School, Adjunct Business Instructor for Porterville College, and Director of Education for the Tule River Indian Tribe. Jason enjoyed being a 4th-grade teacher at Rockford School District and a 7th and 8th-grade teacher with Sequoia Middle School.

In addition to his formal roles, Jason has been deeply involved in community service. He is actively involved in the Barn Theater in Porterville, co-directing the Junior Company, which provides theater productions and workshops for children. He has actively participated in the Burton Educational Partnership Foundation, aiding in the provision of additional funding for schools, and has been a member of the Springville Mountain Lions Club, where he contributed to community service projects and scholarship programs.
